Shop ‘til we drop!

We have been working around the clock this week to get the brand new club shop at Mill Farm ready for the official opening and we are almost there!

The opening is tomorrow morning ahead of the FA Trophy tie against Brackley Town and our trusty tradesmen are putting the finishing touches in as we speak.

The floor tiles have been laid and the ceiling is in, whilst the air conditioning unit has been installed.

The feature slatted walls are currently being fitted and the painting of the room is finished in true Fylde colours!

The new shop boasts changing facilities, which are now complete, as is the storage room for stock.

The mat well at the entrance is fitted and the two 60in TVs are mounted behind the counter and against the window.

An impressive island unit has been fitted in the centre of the shop for storage and display purposes and the sales counter is ready for action.  

Decorating and painting is well underway in the club offices and the feature wall across the road from the West Stand is currently under construction.

Elsewhere, work on the 3G pitches continues with focus on the full sized hockey pitch. The shockpads have been laid and the Astroturf carpet is due to go down next week and should take a fortnight to complete. The floodlights are also up on the hockey pitch as we close in on a New Year opening.

The fencing around the other pitches is ongoing and likely to be complete in three weeks.
