AFC Fylde have swooped for experienced central midfielder Jason Taylor on a short-term deal.
The 30-year-old has signed a deal with the club until January in time for tonight’s National League clash against Gateshead.
Taylor started out with Oldham Athletic and has spent much of his career in the Football League, featuring for Rotherham United, Cheltenham Town and, most recently, Northampton Town.
He departed the League One outfit last summer before joining National League side Eastleigh where he was a regular during the 2016-17 season.
Taylor goes straight into Dave Challinor’s squad tonight with midfielders Andy Bond and Lewis Montrose both suspended.
Full interview with Jason to follow.
