AFC Fylde Manager Dave Challinor has been giving his reaction to his team’s schedule after the 2018/19 fixtures were released this afternoon.

The Coasters start with a home game vs Bromley on Saturday 4^th August followed by back-to-back away games vs Wrexham and Havant & Waterlooville. Fylde then have 2 home games vs Solihull Moors and Dover Athletic. August Bank Holiday weekend gives Coasters fans a trip down to Sutton United followed by an exciting clash with Harrogate Town on Bank Holiday Monday.

Boss Challinor welcomed his side’s start to the new campaign as he begins to ready his squad for the August return.

“It’s nice to start with a home league game at Mill Farm in front of our own supporters. We can’t wait to get started. It’s an exciting day for the fans and I’m sure they will be planning trips already.”

When asked about the festive fixtures Challinor commented:

“It’s nice for the fans to have the short trip to Barrow on Boxing Day and I’m sure the return game on New Year’s Day will attract a great crowd at Mill Farm.”

“Overall we have to be pleased with the way the fixtures look and now we can’t wait to get started again.”
