Dion Charles has joined Evo-Stik Premier Division leaders Skelmersdale United on loan for a month.
The paperwork was pushed through in order for Dion to be eligible for Skelmersdales league fixture last night against Curzon Ashton.
Commenting on the move, Coasters boss Dave Challinor said: ‘this is a great opportunity for Dion. Tommy is someone I know well and talk to regularly. He called looking for a winger as he’s trying to strengthen and build on their fantastic start to the season’.
‘I know he’ll look after him and his teams play in a way that will suit Dion. It had been my intention to get Dion out almost immediately on loan to get him games in order to develop but he’s been involved in every squad with us this season’.
‘He did enough pre season for us to recognize he definitely has something and we’ll continue to work with him and hopefully next season or later this season we’ll have a very good player on our hands that will impact on our first team’.
Dion was a substitute in last nights 1-1 draw between Skelmersdale and Curzon Ashton.
