The 19-year-old, son of former Blackburn Rovers striker Mike, will join up with the Coasters for the trip to AFC Telford United tomorrow.

 

Newell joined Wanderers from Everton last summer and has been a regular for their development squad.

 

Handed his Bolton debut as a substitute against Hull City in April 2016, the forward made two senior appearances for the Trotters last year and has featured for Phil Parkinson’s side during pre-season.
