Over 70 businesses came together at Mill Farm as AFC Fylde hosted the club’s first ever business lunch.
A total of 113 people attended the networking event and enjoyed a delicious three-course lunch as the club showcased potential partnership opportunities.
After guided tours around the stadium, there were speeches from Chairman David Haythornthwaite, Commercial Manager David Broadbent and AFC Fylde Community Foundation Director Tom Hutton, whilst the guests sampled our Matchday menu in Churchill’s.
The afternoon was a huge success with some fantastic feedback and Commercial Manager David Broadbent was delighted with the turnout: “The afternoon went well beyond our expectations. To attract as many guests as we did was brilliant and I’d like to thank everyone who took the time to come and see what AFC Fylde and our Community Foundation are all about.
“It was great to get the opportunity to talk to the local business community and we will be running similar events on a regular basis. From a commercial perspective there was some good business done within the room and again I’d like to thank everyone who contributed to the success of the day.”
A special thanks to Bowker Motor Group for displaying the Mini, BMW’s and Maserati outside the stadium.
Meanwhile, work has resumed on the 3G pitches this week and the full sized hockey pitch is expected to be completed over the next few days.
Also, why not enjoy the Super Bowl (New England Patriots v Atlanta Falcons) in Bradleys Sports Bar this Sunday. We have a late license until 4am so you won’t have to move a muscle!
