AFC Fylde boss Dave Challinor admits he has one eye on next weekend’s mammoth clash with Solihull Moors ahead of tomorrow’s visit of Skelmersdale United in the FA Trophy.
Whilst insisting his side are keen to go as far as possible in the competition, Challinor believes the Coasters must prioritise.
“This game comes at a good time for us when you take in to account all our injury problems of late. It is an important game for us, but obviously looking at the bigger picture, we have one eye on next weekend’s game against Solihull Moors.
“We might use tomorrow to give the recovering lads some game time in preparation for next weekend.
“By the same token, we have momentum and we want to keep that going for as long as possible. We want to win and play well and keep this run going.
“I went to watch Skelmersdale a few weeks ago and they are a strong side and I’m sure they will enjoy playing on our surface. They like to play a passing game, similar to ourselves so it should be a good football match.”
