AFC Fylde have been handed a sensational home tie against Wigan Athletic in the FA Cup Second Round.
The Coasters will host the League One high-flyers over the weekend of 1st-4th December, with the date to be confirmed soon.
Goals from Danny Rowe (2), Jonny Smith and Sam Finley in a 4-2 victory over Kidderminster Harriers secured Fylde’s passage though to the second round for the first time ever, whilst the Latics, currently second in League One, saw off Crawley 2-1 in the first round.
As a consequence, our home National League fixture against Chester on Saturday 2nd December has been postponed. A new date will be announced in due course.
