AFC Fylde can confirm that Danny Philliskirk has left the Football Club by mutual consent.
Attacking midfielder Philliskirk has been at the Coasters for the last six-years after signing in July 2018.
In total, Danny made over 200 AFC Fylde appearances in all competitions – including 42 in his first campaign at the Club – scoring a memorable goal away at Solihull Moors in the play-off semi final as the Coasters reached the promotion final at Wembley in May 2019.
Philliskirk was also a member of the Fylde side who won promotion from the Vanarama National League North as champions in 2022/23.
AFC Fylde Head Coach Chris Beech said: “Not only as a personal friend to his father Tony through our coaching careers over the last 20 years, Dan has been an excellent professional and Team contributor over the last 5 seasons at AFC Fylde.
“Dan had an invitation to come across to the dark side of “Coaching” but on reflection, Dan wants to continue playing for as long as possible. Therefore, with our Team evolving, the best fit for him was to move on with our best wishes.”
Danny departs Mill Farm with the very best wishes of everyone at AFC Fylde.
