The AFC Fylde Development Squad collected the Lancashire Football League West Division trophy last night after yet another victory.

Goals from Danny Forbes, Ben Duffield and Joey Mullen gave the youngsters a 3-0 win over Stalybridge Celtic which extended their points tally to 53 from their 22 league games this season.

The boys were delighted with their achievement at full time.  The trophy was presented to them by two representatives from the Lancashire Football League in front of a decent crowd at Kellamergh Park.

Many of Andy Pilkington’s young squad will be hoping to achieve even greater things next season and follow in the footsteps of Mullen, Duffield, Ryan Charnley, Jake Gregory and Aaron Fleming in breaking into Dave Challinor’s First Team.
