Are you considering your next steps in education and fancy a career in the sports industry? Well, the Community Foundation’s University courses, delivered in partnership with The University of South Wales and EFL Trust can help you get started on your journey!

From the next academic year in September 2024, students can study BA (Hons) Business in Sport, and Sports Development degrees with the Foundation, alongside the current Foundation degree Football Development course, for people over 18.

The students on our programme will split time across online and classroom learning, as well as practical coaching sessions, which will allow them to embrace first-hand experience at Fylde Sports and Education Centre, located within the state-of-the-art Mill Farm Sports Village.

We are the only charity of a Vanarama National League club to offer the two-year University of South Wales courses.

Work experience and paid opportunities are also available for students on the course, whilst a full AFC Fylde Community Foundation kit will be supplied.

The benefits of studying for a degree at AFC Fylde Community Foundation include; living at home whilst studying, which lowers living costs, not having to leave your existing job, and the chance to gain over 400 hours of real-world experience within an ambitious professional club and the Foundation.
