Fylde Ladies have bolstered their ranks with yet another star signing, swooping for US under-23 international Kylie Strom.
The versatile midfielder, raised in New York, will join up with Fylde next month from Boston Breakers ahead of the new Womens Premier League season.
Ladies manager Luke Swindlehurst was delighted to bring in another international star: “It is a huge success for us to capture a player of Kylie’s quality. Matt Beard (Boston Head Coach) and I still communicate on a daily basis so it made the process very easy.
“I’ve watched a lot of Boston this season and the level of fitness out there is unbelievable. They produce footballing athletes and we now have the opportunity to bring in Kylie who is from that top level.
“Her character and quality will be a key ingredient to help us achieve success this season. Kylie will add another dimension to our squad and I’m delighted she has agreed to join ahead of the new season.
“Coming from an elite football environment in America will give us vital experience and her winning mentality is perfect for us here at Fylde.”
Strom added: “I am so excited and thankful for this opportunity with Fylde. I can’t wait to start this new chapter of my career and look forward to spending next season in England.”
