This afternoon’s National League fixture against Maidstone United has been abandoned shortly after half-time due to deteriorating weather conditions.

After discussions with referee Marc Edwards, both managers agreed to abandon the match in the 48th minute after the pitch had become unplayable due to the weather.

The referee praised the efforts of the ground staff at the interval who worked tirelessly in an attempt to keep the game on.
