AFC Fylde head into their penultimate home game of the 2024/25 campaign this Good Friday as they host Halifax Town at Mill Farm.
The Coasters will be looking to complete a league double over the Shaymen after the win in the reverse fixture back in February.
A stunning opener from Tyler Roberts along with a Nick Haughton penalty sealed the three points in West Yorkshire despite Chris Millington’s side coming back into the contest late in the first half.
Opposition dugout: Chris Millington
Sitting in the opposition dugout is Chris Millington. Entering his sixth year with Halifax, Millington joined the Shaymen in 2019 as right-hand man to former Manager Pete Wild.
His coaching career began with Altrincham’s under 18’s before working at Stockport County’s Centre of Excellence.
He then briefly worked abroad in Croatia before joining up with Pete Wild at Oldham. The two had met studying for their A-Licence and stayed in touch.
But following Wild’s departure after three years at the Shay Stadium, Millington took the reins after he was appointed First Team Manager.
