The Coasters still sit top of the Vanarama Conference North after a hard fought 1-0 home victory over North Ferriby United on Saturday, and on Tuesday night they face a Tamworth side who have a lot to prove to new boss Andy Morrell.
The great fun of form continues for Fylde, who have now won eight out of nine games in all competitions and winning all of their previous seven league games. This fine form sees The Coasters very high up on the form list throughout the whole of Europe.
Not only are The Coasters top of the league table, they top the scoring charts, have conceded the fewest goals and have the largest positive goal difference.
They will look to carry on their fantastic form against a Tamworth side who have been somewhat disappointing so far in the league having dropped down from the Conference Premier last season.
The Lambs sit 20th in the Conference North table at present having collected 10 points from their opening 11 games. It may not look good for Tamworth but the encouraging thing for them is that they aren’t losing games.
Despite winning just one game this season, they’ve drawn seven so far and they’ll be looking to convert those draws in to wins sooner or later, starting on Tuesday evening.
