It’s the Evo-Stik Northern Premier League Play-offs week this week and The Coasters’ chance of promotion to the Skrill North is back in their own hands!
AFC Fylde’s 1-0 win over Kings Lynn Town on Saturday meant that Dave Challinor’s side go into the Play-offs in fine form with just one defeat from their last 26 matches in all competitions.
The win also made sure of their third placed finish in the Premier Division which means they will host Tuesday night’s Semi Final and welcome fourth placed Worksop Town to Kellamergh Park.
Fylde have beaten Worksop on both occasions this season – firstly recording a fantastic 6-1 win over them at the end of August before winning a five-goal thriller at KP in January in the first game of that amazing 26 game run.
With that in mind, Fylde will be fully confident they can make it a hat-trick of victories over this side tomorrow night on home soil and win through to Saturday’s Final against the winners of FC United and Ashton United.
Due to league rules, admission prices for tomorrow’s match are set at £9 for adults and £5 for concessions (including U16’s). The game kicks off at 7:45pm so make sure you come along for what could be the final home game of the season and cheer on The Coasters as they aim to join Chorley in next season’s Conference North.
It promises to be an entertaining game as always and we’ll see you all there!
