After months of hard graft from hundreds of tradespeople, Mill Farm is almost ready for the first ever match!
AFC Fylde host Brackley Town tomorrow afternoon and supporters are in for a treat as they witness a historic day for the club.
‘This is Football’ – quite the apt phrase displayed above the double doors as you enter the changing area and the players tunnel.
The home changing area has been scrubbed from top to bottom by staff and management and is looking fantastic. The players will even have their initials and squad number on their very own locker!
Signage has been put up throughout the ground floor and the impressive HOME and AWAY lettering proudly points to the appropriate dressing room.
The officials changing facilities have also been completed whilst the finishing touches are going in for the away changing area.
Churchill’s function suite hosted its ‘soft opening’ on Thursday night as a practice run for tomorrow’s main event and the response was excellent. Food, service and surroundings all received a huge thumbs up.
Images of sporting heroes and inspirational figures now line the executive corridor and the covers are off the seats in the stand!
The tiling in the main entrance lobby has been complete, as has the spiral staircase gracing the reception area.
