AFC Fylde is delighted to announce that Mo Faal has extended his loan from Sky Bet Championship side West Bromwich Albion until the end of the season.
Following the New Year’s Day victory and the expiration of Mo’s loan, the Coasters have moved quickly to secure his signature until the end of the season after impressing throughout December at Mill Farm.
Things got off to a dream start for both parties when Mo came off the bench against Gloucester City to bring Adam Murray’s side from behind and score a brace on his debut to clinch all three points.
Two local derbies and impressive performances later, Mo will now continue his development on the Fylde Coast until the end of the National League North campaign.
Director of Football Chris Beech expressed his delight at the extension and said: “In his first month, Mo has made an immediate impact at AFC Fylde that has gained respect from his fellow teammates, staff, and supporters alike both on and off the pitch. This is a testament to Mo’s character, personality, and talent.
“On behalf of the first-team coaching staff and the board, we are delighted to extend Mo’s loan deal until the end of the season and would like to thank West Brom for their cooperation.
“We have a competitive squad, and many challenges lie ahead, and with Mo part of this squad, we are in a stronger place to attack those challenges.”
Great to have you onboard for the remainder of the season, Mo!
