Despite what is no doubt a busy schedule, Prime Minister Theresa May found time to congratulate the Coasters on reaching Wembley twice.

The recognition came following a question from Fylde’s MP Mark Menzies, who lauded the Coasters achievements both on the field, and in the community.

“It’s absolutely right to congratulate AFC Fylde, I believe known as the Coasters, for their recent success, and we wish them the best in the playoff final at Wembley,” said the Prime Minister at Westminster.

“AFC Fylde are a very good example of how clubs can engage with their local communities, ” May continued.
