Defender Scott Duxbury has joined neighbours Chorley on loan for the rest of the season.

Duxbury, who joined from Stockport County in the summer, has made 19 appearances this season – but has found playing time limited under Jim Bentley.

“We’ve had a look at all the players at the back – we feel Jameson is getting better and Andy Taylor has good experience, so we’re a little overloaded ion that position,” said Manager Jim Bentley.

“This is a good chance for Dux to go out and play some games, he’s frustrated that he hasn’t played as much as he’d like – so it’s about doing right by all parties.”
