AFC Fylde manager Dave Challinor took time out this week to lend a hand to a fundraising stunt with a difference.
Challinor helped BBC Radio Lancashire’s Graham Liver on his journey pushing a four poster bed from Pudsey to Bare in a bid to raise money for Children in Need.
Challinor braved the elements to join the team in Thornton Cleveleys midway through their 100-mile week long walk from West Yorkshire to Morecambe.
“It was great to take part in such a worthwhile event … despite the weather conditions! I don’t envy Graham having to walk all that way pulling a bed through the streets but fair play to him.
“We have been raising money ourselves for Children in Need in training for the last couple of weeks and hopefully this will help raise even more.”
