AFC Fylde striker Danny Rowe cleaned up at the club’s annual End of Season Awards evening, sponsored by Danvic Turf Care.
The 50-goal hitman scooped four awards at the presentation evening held in Churchill’s suite at Mill Farm, including the Inspired Energy Player of the Season Trophy.
Rowe, who smashed the National League North goal record with 47 goals in a phenomenal campaign, was also awarded the Bowker Motor Group Player’s Player of the Season, the Inspired Energy Goal of the Season for his sublime strike against Bradford Park Avenue back in August and, of course, the AFC Fylde Community Foundation Golden Boot trophy.
The frontman has enjoyed a season to remember picking up the National League North Player of the Year whilst also being named alongside teammate Dan Bradley in the league’s Team of the Year as the Coasters were promoted to the National League as Champions.
Rowe was then presented with a framed matchball by Chairman David Haythornthwaite in recognition of his six hat-tricks this season.
Rising star James Hardy was named the Kepak Young Player of the Season after a year that saw him involved in over 20 goals and make his England C debut, where he provided two assists in a 2-1 victory over Estonia.
There was also a special mention for striker Matt Blinkhorn who was awarded ‘Dave Challinor’s Champagne Moment of the Season’ following his 97th minute equaliser against rivals Kidderminster Harriers.
The club would like to thank all the sponsors for helping to make the evening such a success.
