AFC Fylde can confirm that midfielder Taelor O’Kane has joined National League North side Chester on loan until the end of the 2024/25 campaign.
The teenager joins the Seals ahead of their weekend fixture against Farsley Celtic, however the Coasters are able to recall O’Kane back to Mill Farm at any point after 28 days.
The young midfielder, who had clocked up 21 appearances so far this season including seven starts, joins the Seals at a really exciting time with them sitting top of the Naitonal League North, a point ahead of second-placed Scunthorpe United.
O’Kane broke into the first team set up last campaign and signed a two-year contract extension over the summer, keeping him at Mill Farm until at least 2026.
After making the step up to first-team football, Taelor featured in 19 National League games last season, scoring four goals including a brace against FC Halifax Town which saw the teenager score a 96th minute equaliser.
Everyone at the club would like to wish Taelor all the very best during his time with Chester.
