The AFC Fylde Community Foundation is delighted to welcome two new members of staff as we continue to strive to become the most influential and inspiring Community Foundation Organisation in Lancashire.
Matthew Agnew joins us as the official Physical Activity Officer. Matthew, 25, has had extensive experience in coaching, well-being and inclusive sports having been the social inclusion officer at Blackburn Rovers FC. Matthew started his coaching career at the age of 19 and could not hide his excitement about joining The AFC Fylde Community Foundation. He said, “I’ve been looking at the AFC Fylde Community Foundation for some time now. They have continuously been making progress and I was eager to get involved. Once I saw there was an opportunity, I just had to apply. Thankfully, Tom and Ryan have given me a chance.”
Taylor Smith, 17, joins us from Myerscough College where she studied football studies. Taylor’s official job title is the Business Administration Apprentice. Her roles will consist of filing, communicating, and website operation as well many other roles. Taylor is thrilled to be joining such a prestigious team. She said, “I am happy to be joining the AFC Fylde Community Foundation team. I am a big football fan, and now I’m working in football – so I’m very excited about the opportunities ahead of me. I’m just keen to make an impression. ”
