AFC Fylde host Farsley Celtic at Mill Farm this weekend, and if you are a National Lottery player, you can take the game in with a friend and get one of the tickets for free!
During the pandemic, there were fears that many non-league clubs wouldn’t survive, with no income coming in and games being played behind-closed-doors.
Thankfully, National Lottery players stepped in to protect many local football clubs, providing £12.5million of support to clubs in England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland.
As a thank you for the essential support, 231 clubs in England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland are now taking part in The National Lottery Football Weekends. Each club will, for one home fixture in March or April, run a special ‘Buy One Get One Free’ ticket offer for National Lottery players to take someone – potentially for the very first time – to a game.

Who can claim a free ticket?
- AFC Fylde season ticket holders aged 18 or older who produce a valid National Lottery ticket or scratchcard.
- Non-season ticket holders who purchase a full-price adult ticket for the Farsley Celtic fixture and can produce a valid National Lottery ticket or scratchcard.
How and when can I claim a free ticket?
- Supporters who meet the criteria above can claim their ticket by visiting the ticket office and showing their season ticket/matchday ticket and proof of National Lottery purchase.
- The ticket office will be open from 10am-6pm on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and on Saturday 2nd April from 8-6pm, with the offer available right up until kick-off.
Which National Lottery tickets are accepted as proof?
- All National Lottery products apply; draw-based (i.e., Lotto, EuroMillions), scratchcard, or online instant win games.
- The product can be purchased in-store, on the National Lottery website, or via the app. Proof of purchase can be shown in physical or digital form – we will need to record the unique code from your product before you can be issued a free ticket

Matchday ticket sales to both home and away supporters will be available at the Ticket Office or in the Club Shop, but we advise buying online to avoid long queues on the day.
