AFC Fylde face AFC Telford in the FA Trophy on Tuesday night at Kellamergh Park looking to go one step further in the competition for the first time in their history.

This game is a rearranged game, with the original supposed to have taken place over a week ago but due to too much surface water on the pitch, the game was moved to this Tuesday night.

The Coasters have won their last eight games in the league and are on a run of nine straight wins in all competitions. Vital wins over Barrow (x2), Lowestoft, Solihull and most recently, Oxford City on Saturday see Fylde sit five points clear at the top of the table.

December saw The Coasters wins five out of their six games and January has been even better with a 100% winning record for the club in 2015 so far.

The Coasters sit top of the Vanarama Conference table and they have a game in hand over second placed Barrow. while Telford sit bottom of the Conference Premier League table, one point adrift of second bottom Nuneaton although Telford have a couple of games in hand.

Fylde have only lost four games in all competitions this season and will go into this game full of confidence that they can maintain that fantastic record which stretches back to the beginning of the season in August.

In this competition, Fylde had to overcome a tricky Hednesford Town side but came out 3-2 winners at Kellamergh Park and the last round of the FA Trophy was a little more straight forward, a 3-0 home win over Gainsborough Trinity.

Tuesday’s match will see the Coasters pit their wits against a team from a higher division so it should prove to be a very interesting tie.

Telford were promoted from the Conference North last season as champions but it has proved to be somewhat of a struggle in the Conference for them this season as they currently sit bottom of the league table.

Founded in 2004, The Bucks have come up through the leagues in a similar way to AFC Fylde, and they actually have two former Coasters in their ranks in Adam Farrell and the very popular Sean Cooke, who helped guide Fylde to a play-off final win at the end of last season.

The Bucks are actually unbeaten in their last five games in all competitions and beat Wrexham 4-0 away from home on Saturday. Their top scorer this season is Tony Gray and he scored two of those goals in the Wrexham win yesterday.

Ticket prices are as follows;

Adults: £10. Concessions: £7. Armed Forces Personnel: £1.Under 16’s: £1.

We’d like to see as many fans down at Kellamergh Park to cheer on The Coasters in their quest to go as far as they possibly can in the FA Trophy!
