AFC Fylde is thrilled to announce that midfielder, Nick Haughton, has been awarded the Vanarama National League North Player of the Month award for September.

Haughton picks up the award after an outstanding start to the 22/23 campaign and even better September, which saw the number 10 bag five goals in four games and assist two along the way. 

His run in front of goal propelled Haughton to the top of the National League North scoring charts with a total of nine goals for the National League North season so far, with him also picking up back-to-back Supporter Player of the Month awards for August & September.

After scooping the award, Haughton expressed: “I’m delighted to have received this award. September was a great month for me personally, scoring five goals in four games and assisting two in the process. 

“I hope I can continue this form and help the team as much as I can going forward.”
