Next up for the Coasters is a trip to Greater Manchester this weekend as we take on in-form Altrincham at the J Davidson Stadium.
It’s the first game since the club parted ways with Head Coach Kevin Phillips as David Longwell and Chris Neal will take over duties in the dugout for this weekend’s clash.
Fylde will be looking for a reaction after falling to a 2-1 defeat at home to Boston United last time out.
Nick Haughton’s first half penalty halved the deficit on the stroke of half time, but the Coasters couldn’t find an equaliser on a tough night under the Mill Farm lights.
Fylde will also be looking for a different outcome from the last time these two sides faced after Altrincham took all three points in front of the Dazn cameras back in October at Mill Farm.
Opposition Dugout: Phil Parkinson
The Robins have been under the tutelage of manager Phil Parkinson since 2017. He has led them to two promotions from the Northern Premier League and the National League North and brought them to the play-offs last season, being beaten by eventual winners Bromley.
As a player, Parkinson appeared over 200 times for Nantwich Town, captaining the side who won the FA Vase in 2006, before taking charge as manager for the Dabbers in 2015.
He presided over two promotions at Nantwich and the FA Trophy semi-finals in 2016.
One to watch: Regan Linney
One of the best strikers in the division, Regan Linney sits top of the goalscoring charts for the National League so far this campaign.
Preston-born, he began his career down the road at Bamber Bridge, where, after being fast-tracked through the Academy ranks, he broke into the first team at 17 years old.
He joined FC United at the beginning of July, 2019 and immediately hit the ground running as a bustling centre-forward with a flair for taking defenders on and an unerring eye for goal.
Ever since moving to Alty, he has been a constant threat for the Robins, scoring a hat-trick in the reverse fixture against the Coasters back in October.
