AFC Fylde can confirm that Jim Bentley’s operation has been successful and Jim is in good condition. 

Coasters boss, Bentley, underwent double heart bypass surgery on Tuesday morning and was initially transferred to the Intensive Care Unit for further observation. Since then, Jim has had all tubes removed and is currently recovering on the ward and making good progress. The doctors are optimistic that he will be discharged from hospital in the next few days.
