“I was one of the Stockport County fans who came to Mill Farm on Tuesday and just wanted to give you some positive feedback from the perspective of a visiting fan.

“Your staff – car park attendants, security staff on the gate, stewards, the people serving food and drink – were all incredibly friendly, efficient and professional.

“Yours is the nicest, most fan-friendly stadium we have been to all season and the food and drink was really good value.

“Coming away with a 0-0 draw against the league leaders probably helped, but my son and I felt it was one of the most entertaining games we have seen all season.

“I spend a lot of my free time following football in Germany and I am known to go on a bit about how much better the facilities and experience of football is over there. However, I can honestly say you match anything I have seen at a similar level in Germany.

“I wish you well for the rest of this season and hope we will be playing you again soon in the Conference.”
