Former Arsenal goalkeeper Hollie Augustus has spoken of her delight at joining Fylde Ladies.
The 20-year-old will be a valuable asset to manager Luke Swindlehurst’s squad and predicts success with her new club.
“I’m really pleased to have signed for Fylde and having spoken to the manager and heard about the plans that are in place I can’t wait for the season to start. I definitely think that this is the right club for me to develop my own game and I’m looking forward to being a part of this club’s exciting future.”
Manager Swindlehurst added: “Hollie will fit in really well with us here at Fylde and I’m sure she has all the attributes to help us achieve success this season.
“She has a bubbly character and has a very good presence in goal. Hollie has been at one of the best clubs in the country gaining WSL experience and now has the opportunity to develop further still with us and I’m confident she will have a positive impact on the team.”
