AFC Fylde gates continue to grow this season in Conference North ahead of two crucial home games inside a week.

An increase of 75% on home attendances at Kellamergh Park during 2014/15 has seen the average gate rise to 546 ahead of Saturday’s Valentine’s Day clash with Harrogate Town and next Tuesday’s visit of Boston United.

Just seven matches remain on home turf this season in the league as the club chases a second successive promotion and a place in the top flight of Non League football.

AFC Fylde operates ticketing initiatives with local schools and colleges where we promote our free football to under 16s.

We also provide complimentary tickets to the servicemen and women at Weeton Barracks and are working with the business network across the Fylde Coast to encourage new partnerships as we plan for life at our new facilities at Mill Farm.

The free shuttle bus service on Saturday match days is growing by the week, with new routes added recently and further expansions under discussion.

Commercial Manager Dave Riche said: “We are always looking for new ways and opportunities to grow the club and an increase of 75% in attendances in league matches this season already shows we are heading in the right direction.

“We are always looking to develop and grow and attract new supporters through the gate along with new business partnerships.

“Our free bus service has also been showing big signs of increase in recent weeks and this is another way that we are working with our supporters to assist them to get to our games.

“We are a club with family values which are reflected in whatever we do.”
