AFC Fylde have today completed the signing of Huddersfield Town midfielder Ben Holmes.
The 18 year-old has joined on an initial month long loan from the Championship club.
Manager Dave Challinor said: “I’m delighted to have been able to agree a deal with Huddersfield Town to bring Ben in on an initial month long loan.
“We needed to boost the squad numbers wise due to injuries and Ben will be a great addition. He’s missed the start of the season himself through an injury but is now fully fit and looking to play games.
“He is very highly thought of and someone who immediately caught our eye in the two games we played against Hyde last season where he was on loan. We’ve monitored his progress and once I’d spoken to Huddersfield about him to confirm his availability was delighted to conclude the deal so quickly.
“We must thank Huddersfield Town for their assistance in getting the paperwork concluded so that Ben will be available and will join the squad for the game at Curzon Ashton tomorrow.”
Also joining the squad is Dylan Versallo a young attacker who has been training with the club recently.
