The Coasters travel to Kidderminster this Tuesday in a game which can only be described as a six pointer. Both teams need the points at this time of the season to stay up and with results not going either side’s way last weekend, points are a necessity.
The Coasters travelled to Chesterfield last time out and were beaten 4-1 in a game where Fylde rarely tested the Chesterfield goal and looked tired in certain areas. A Danny Ormerod goal was a consolation on what was a miserable day out in Derbyshire.
However, the Coasters need to bounce back this Tuesday and gain momentum coming into the final stretch of games especially with so many of the bottom half to play, a win on Tuesday could go a long way to staying up.

The Opposition
Kidderminster have found their feet coming into the end of the season and have certainly boosted their survival hopes since Phil Brown has taken over. A team just like Fylde who seemed bound to be relegated have now only lost 2 games in the league since the 6th of January.
However, a lack of goals and killing games off seems to be Kiddy’s trouble but with the attacking prowess of ex- Coasters Ash Hemming and Gold Omatayo, Tuesday night could be a difficult one for Chris Beech’s side.
A win for the Harriers would be massive in their battle to survive as it would push them up the table and properly drag the Coasters into a battle, Tuesday night at Aggborough will be a game to watch.

Classic Clash
In mid-march just under seven years ago both of the teams which will face each other on Tuesday were vying for the National League North title and this game was crucial in who would go up as champions.
With 3 players sent off from either side and hardly any time on the clock, Matt Blinkhorn scored a goal which can only be described as scenes to equalise and make it 2-2 at Mill Farm and earn a crucial point for Fylde. Fylde went onto win the league by 6 points with Kidderminster finishing in 2nd on 82 points.
Key Players
Ash Hemmings – Hemmings is a player who all Coasters fans will never forget after his short spell at the club under Dave Challoner. A tricky winger who can play anywhere across the front line is always a threat. A lethal striker of the ball, Hemmings can still score in the air despite his height and will cause the Coasters a real handful on Tuesday night.
Amari Morgan-Smith – The official number 9 for the Harriers, Morgan-smith is a tidy striker who can be seen as a poacher within the box and often will seem silent within matches but always seems to pop up on the scoresheet. Scoring against the Coasters last season at Mill Farm Morgan-Smith will be looking to add to his tally against the Coasters.
Jack Lambert – A summer signing from Darlington who has really shone in recent weeks under new management. An additional threat in the attack can provide goals and also finish them.
