Fylde Ladies make the trip to Nottingham Forest on Sunday for their final Premier League away game of the season.
Manager Conrad Prendergast has a fully fit squad to pick from this weekend and hopes to continue the recent good form going into the match.
“The team are in a positive mood ahead of Sunday. We have started to play together really well as a team in recent weeks and we hope that we can keep that up.
“Our thoughts are firmly on our final three games, we want to ensure we do not take our foot off the gas until the end of the season.”
An early goal after just five minutes from Laura Walker in the last fixture was enough for Prendergast’s side to secure a 1-0 win at Mill Farm.
Forest sit 10th place in the league after winning just four games so far this season, one of which came in their recent fixture against Bradford, where goals from Andrea Bell and a late strike from Charlotte Broad gave the home side a 2-1 win.
Bell has scored 16 goals this season in all competitions and is certainly one to watch, but the Coasters shouldn’t ignore about Katie Lowder, who has chipped in with 11 goals herself.
Problems at the back though have resulted in Forest accumulating just 15 points in the league, seven of those coming at home, and conceding 45 goals.
However, Prendergast is still expecting a tough game: “Forest were not easy opponents the last time we met, they limited any clear cut chances we tried to create and they made it a difficult three points for us. I’m sure they will do the same again.”
