AFC Fylde are pleased to confirm the appointment of Luke Evans as the club’s new Sports Lottery Manager.
Luke will head up the day-to-day running and development of the FSL Gold lottery, which has proved a resounding success since its introduction five years ago.
The lottery gives members the chance to win big money prizes every week whilst also encouraging and supporting participation in sport within the local community.
Luke spent 10 years in the armed forces before taking up football coaching with Championship side Cardiff City. The 33-year-old was then invited to take up a similar position in Montreal, Canada, for 12 months. Luke also has vast experience in the hospitality industry and is relishing his new role with the Coasters.
Luke said: “I am delighted to get involved with the Fylde Sports Lottery. It is a great concept that also helps grassroots sports teams, something that has always been very important to me.”
“For just £1 our members have the opportunity to win a jackpot prize of a minimum £1,000 every week, whilst also receiving two other chances to win with our major and minor prizes. In my first week, I have already had the pleasure of presenting a cheque for £1,300 to a local lady which is a great start!”
