It’s a quick turnaround for AFC Fylde who face another home clash against Ebbsfleet United on Tuesday night.

It’s a rearranged fixture at Mill Farm after the game was initially postponed due to a spell of heavy rainfall in the build up to kick off in late-November.

The Coasters are coming off the back of a disappointing run of results which continued on Saturday after being knocked out of the FA Trophy on penalties by Kidderminster Harriers.

However, with some key players rested ahead of tomorrow’s huge clash under the lights, Fylde will be raring to go ahead of this one.

Opposition dugout: Harry Watling

Manager Harry Watling was appointed as manager in September of this year, making him the youngest manager in the National League at 34 years of age. His first managerial job was in the USA with USL Hartford Athletic before making the move home to the UK, where he worked at QPR. He was Micheal Beale’s assistant at Rangers before making the move to first team coach with the Fleet.

One to watch: Dominic Poleon

Poleon was in the academy at Chelsea, before switching to Leeds United, where he made his debut at Elland Road in 2012.

The 31-year-old had various spells across the Football League, featuring for Oldham, AFC Wimbledon, Bradford City, Crawley Town and Newport County.

He made the move to Ebbsfleet in February 2021, following a loan spell at Dover Athletic.

Poleon has gone on to score 71 goals for the Fleet in under 130 games, including 36 goals in their National League South title winning campaign.

Born in England, Poleon represents St. Lucia at international level and has three goals in five caps, with all of his goals coming in one game against Sint Maarten.
