The Coasters start their FA Trophy journey this season with a Third Qualifying Round home game against Hednesford Town. They go into the game on the back of two successive draws away at North Ferriby and at home to Stockport County
It’s been a winless month for Fylde but positives can be drawn from the fact that in terms of how each natch this month has panned out. The Coasters have played some good football against some famous names such as Boston United and Plymouth Argyle and were unlucky in defeat in both games – especially the FA Cup First Round against Plymouth.
More recent draws in the Conference North against good sides are still encouraging though, but The Coasters will be looking to go one step further on Saturday afternoon where they face an out of form Hednesford Town side.
The Pitmen haven’t been in great form of late, with their last two games both being defeats against Stockport County and more recently a 3-2 home defeat to Tamworth. This month they have also drawn against Barrow at home and they also beat Stalybridge Celtic 5-0 away from home too. They were put out of the FA Cup by Kings Lynn, who Fylde later went on to defeat to reach the first round proper.
Hednesford sit in 11th position in the Conference North table on 26 points from 19 games while The Coasters are in fourth place with 33 points from 16 games.
These two sides have already met once this season at Kellamergh Park in the league, with the score finishing 3-1 to the Coaster courtesy of Danny Rowe, Michael Potts and Richie Allen in what was Fylde’s first win over The Pitmen in three previous attempts.
A win would see The Coasters progress past the third qualifying round of this competition for the first time.
Ticket prices are as follows;

We’d like to see as many Coasters fans at the game as possible to cheer on The Coasters!
