The biggest chipper machine in the country will be at Mill Farm next week as clearance work continues at Mill Farm.
Around 45,000 Connifer trees have been removed from the site and the next task is to have them taken off site and recycled for Biomass.
This is the process by which it is made into energy for both heating and biofuel. The chipper will take the trees and prepare them for transportation from the site.
The next phase of work involves the earth being prepared and stockpiled for removal before work can commence on the installation of roads and drainage for the site.
While this work is taking place we are ensuring we are protecting any wildlife by having a survey carried out each week to ensure no wildlife is put at risk.
Over the next few weeks, Warden Construction will develop a site entrance, temporary car park and site yard.
