Work at Mill Farm continues at pace as we look forward to the first match here on July 31st.
Mill Farm hosts ‘Brett Ormerod’s Tangerine All Stars vs Dave Challinor’s AFC Fylde Select’ at the end of next month and plenty has been happening over the last week.
Noticeably, at the entrance to the development, the Mill Farm signage on the striking stone wall is now proudly on show.
The pitch is coming along fantastically well and as you can see below the grass is thickening out ready for the next cut.
The perimeter fence that runs parallel to the carpark was started last week and all the tarmacking for the walkways around the outside of the pitch has been completed.
The feature ceilings on the first floor are well underway, as is the steelwork to the ground floor ceilings.
The bar for Churchill’s is currently being built offsite and should be ready for instillation tomorrow.
On the football side, all the tiling in the home, away and officials changing and shower rooms has been completed.
To the exterior of the stand, work on the trims of the black cladding is being finished off.
Elsewhere on site, Aldi supermarket are stocking the shelves of their new store ahead of the opening on Thursday.
