Work at Mill Farm is full steam ahead with just five weeks until the start of the new Vanarama National League North season.
The pitch is coming along fantastically well and has been rolled and cut this week, whilst a second seeding has taken place to fill in any gaps in the grass.
The cross rails in the standing sections of the ground have been fixed and the turnstile buildings are now 95% complete.
Permanent fencing is well underway on site and along the north end of the stadium whilst the seating framework will begin next week.
Work has really kicked on in the home changing area as the drainage channel is now complete in the showers and the floor is being prepared for the resin flooring throughout the changing area.
The locker and seating units are currently being built and should be complete by the end of next week.
The security office has been plastered, powered up and screens have been installed for CCTV.
On the first floor, the ceilings in Churchill’s function suite are ready to be plastered whilst the walnut credenza sideboards that house wine and beer fridges and built in TVs are being fitted in the executive boxes.
The walls in grand entrance lobby of the West Stand are now being tiled with marble tiling.
