Ethan Mitchell was pleased to play his part as AFC Fylde secured a 1-0 victory against Bromley at Mill Farm on Saturday.
Defender Mitchell, 21, put in an excellent display for the Coasters during the contest, which was decided by Danny Ormerod’s early goal.
The result secured an impressive win for Chris Beech’s men for a third win in four Vanarama National League games.
And Mitchell says the lads showcased their quality to overcome Andy Woodman’s Ravens.
Mitchell said: “I feel like we were unlucky on Tuesday not to get the three points but we’ve really shown that we’ve bounced back from that game, and it shows the strength of the squad as well.
“I’ve tried my best to come in with what I said I was going to do and bring my personality which I feel like I’ve done so far.
“We’ve really shown how positive we were, and we’ll rest now and go again at the weekend.
“We’ll have the same energy, determination and character and it’s going to be a dogfight.”
Mitchell, on loan from Wigan Athletic, praised the support of the Coasters’ supporters in the stands, who cheered the lads onto three points.
He added: “The fans give us confidence and a boost, and we just want to do them proud again.”
