MICHAEL Potts has joined Stalybridge Celtic on loan.

The move enables the midfielder (pictured left) to get some first team action before returning to AFC Fylde for the run-in.

Manager Dave Challinor said: “Michael started off well for us, but then had a bit of dip in form.

“We have not had many development squad matches lately, so he hasn’t been able to play very much.

“During his time on loan, he will probably play six or seven matches and Michael will get the games that he needs.

“It is beneficial all the way round.”
