Mill Farm

Vanarama National League

Football returns to Mill Farm this weekend and Dave Challinor and his troops will be keen to end their winless run with victory over Woking.

The Coasters have draw two and lost two of the last four games since recording their second win of the season against Barrow on Bank Holiday Monday.

Fylde earned a credible 2-2 draw at Eastleigh at the weekend despite twice trailing in the game. Former Sheffield Wednesday star Reda Johnson opened the scoring before Henry Jones equalised with his forth goal of the season. Ex-Premier League ace Gary McSheffrey restored the host’s lead after the break.

Jordan Tunnicliffe levelled the scores at the Silverlake Stadium as Fylde drew their sixth game of the season. Whilst 20th in the table, the Coasters remain the same number of points from top of the league as the bottom.

Woking arrive at Mill Farm in fine form having won four of their previous five league outings.

The Cards are the only side in the National League yet to draw a game this season, with six victories and five defeats from their 11 games.

Last time out they secured a 2-0 win over Sutton United and currently sit 10th in the table, just two points behind league leaders Aldershot Town.

Two goals from Charlton loanee Regan Charles-Cook helped Woking to solid home victory and their first clean sheet of the season.

Managed by Anthony Limbrick, Woking’s top scorer is Joe Ward with four goals to his name.
