This is the second game in a week for Dave Challinor’s side after the midweek draw against Dagenham & Redbridge.

Next up is a big game against Eastleigh who sit in the play-off places, just two points behind Fylde.

With the game carrying huge significance and both teams in good form, it is sure to be a great spectacle for the supporters.

The Coasters will now be without stand-in captain Neill Byrne, who will serve a one-game suspension following two yellow cards midweek against Dagenham & Redbridge.

The Opposition

Name: Eastleigh

Form: WWLWL

Nickname: The Spitfires

Ground: Silverlake Stadium

League Position: 7th

After a mid-table finish last season, The Spitfires have certainly fired up the table this campaign.

Their form in the league started off hit and miss after losing Manager Andy Hessenthaler to Dover.

After the appointment of manager Ben Strevens, they have been on a few unbeaten runs, the latest one in February when they won five consecutive games.

In between, they lost the odd game, but an almost consistent season sees them sit in seventh place just two points behind the Coasters with a game in hand.

One To Watch

Paul McCallum

This week’s one to watch is striker Paul McCallum.

The striker has been in good form this season and has an impressive goalscoring tally.

He has featured 36 times for Eastleigh since signing for them in July 2018. In those 36 appearances, he has scored 22 times, including eight in his last 10 games.

A big game on Saturday will surely bring out McCallum’s best performance and Fylde will need to nullify the threat he brings.

McCallum has missed previous games through injury, but returned to action as a substitute midweek against Barnet.

Head-to-Head

Both teams have faced each other three times, with each game finishing in a draw.
