Stockport County vs AFC Fylde

Edgeley Park
Vanarama National League North
AFC Fylde can pull clear at the top of the National League North with a positive result away at Stockport County.
The Coasters are currently top of the table on goal difference, level on 27 points with Harrogate Town. However, Dave Challinor’s side will look to take advantage of their game in hand after the match was postponed a fortnight ago due to adverse weather conditions.
Fylde continued their unbeaten start to the league season with a 3-1 victory over Gainsborough Trinity at the weekend.
Despite trailing the match at half-time, the Coasters fired three goals without reply in the second half, with strikes from top scorer Danny Rowe, James Hardy and debutant Dan Bradley.
Rowe’s equaliser was his 17th goal of the season after just 11 games, whilst Bradley added to his seven goals for Alfreton with his eight strike of an impressive campaign.
Mid-table Stockport are in a decent run of form having suffered just one defeat (away at Darlington) in their last six league games. The Hatters have enjoyed back-to-back victories, firstly seeing off Hyde in the FA Cup before beating Curzon Ashton 2-0 in the league at the weekend.
Fylde ran out 4-0 winners at Edgeley Park last season to avenge the 3-2 defeat at Kellamergh Park in the reverse fixture.
Team news:
Both goalkeeper Rhys Taylor and winger Brendon Daniels are making good progress and although they will not be fit for the trip to Edgeley Park, they could feature against Kidderminster Harriers next time out. Midfielder Sam Finley is serving the final game of a three-match suspension.
