The Coasters have stretched their lead at the top of the Vanarama Conference North to four points thanks to an impressive 3-0 victory at Tamworth this evening.

Dave Challinor’s side were unstoppable as Danny Lloyd scored mid-way through the first half to give Fylde a deserved lead.

And that goal was added to by Joe Booth and Michael Barnes in the second half to complete a comfortable victory away from home.

There was also a welcome return to action for striker Matt Blinkhorn who made his first appearance of the season coming off the bench in the second period after a lengthy back injury – his last appearance was the Play-off Final in May!
