AFC Fylde are delighted to announce an exciting pre-season friendly against Wigan Athletic!

The Coasters will host the League One side at Mill Farm on Saturday 20th July, 2024, with a 3:00pm kick-off announced.

Finishing 12^th in the Sky Bet League One table, Wigan Athletic, managed by Shaun Maloney, put together a decent run of form as the league season came to an end,  going unbeaten in their final five matches, winning three of them.

This friendly is the second match up announced against local EFL opposition as the Coasters look to prepare to get off to a strong start in the National League next season. Like the Blackpool game, we expect a big crowd and look forward to seeing everyone down at Mill Farm.
